Tatiana Wacyk - M.S.W. J.D. LL.M.
Tatiana Wacyk provides mediation and arbitration services to represented parties, primarily in the Ontario and Federal jurisdictions.
Ms. Wacyk has been an adjudicator and mediator for more than twenty years. She is currently, or has been a member of the following panels: Ontario Minister of Labour and Labour Canada List of Approved Arbitrators; Grievance Settlement Board; Ontario Labour Relations Board; Canada Revenue Agency; the Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement Panel, and ADR Chambers’ Roster of Personal Injury Arbitrators.
Ms. Wacyk has mediated and/or adjudicated in the areas of wrongful dismissal; personal injury; contractual disputes; various heads of tort; grievances under a collective agreement; employment standards; occupational health and safety; workers’ compensation; and human rights.
Ms. Wacyk has taught ADR and Advanced ADR at the University of Toronto Law School, as well as ADR at Queen’s University Law School.
Ms. Wacyk is also a frequent presenter and facilitator at conferences, workshops, and continuing education sessions.
Ms. Wacyk is the Past Chair of the Labour Relations Section of the Ontario Bar Association. She is also a member of the Ontario Labour-Management Arbitrators Association.
Prior to becoming an Adjudicator, Ms. Wacyk was in-house counsel, and Director of Policy and Research for the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
